Howdy there, Scream Freaks! St. Patrick’s Day is a blurry haze of a blacked out memory for most by now, but the after image of Warwick Davis’ sneering face continues to fester in my noggin after watching him in the annual Leprechaun marathons on TV. I don’t know when we’ll get around to reviewing this offbeat series that constantly reinvents itself with every movie installment, but a new Graphic Violence is long overdue and is perfect for expanding horror fan’s knowledge of the franchise. That’s right, this little guy dipped his deformed Irish toes into the inky waters of the comic book world a couple of times with stories that could be argued as either true to the genre jumping munchkin or a stupefying fail to horror fanatics everywhere! Just watch the newest Graphic Violence review below!

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Wow, this year is flying by so fast we can hardly believe it! In fact, we almost forgot last week was the Mad Monster Party and shot over there in a hurry! Before we knew it, we were elbows deep in a whole slew of talented people and familiar actors. We witnessed the voice of the Crypt Keeper (John Kassir) in action, Adam West and Burt Ward (Batman) team up for a dynamic panel discussion, and learned Amanda Bearse (Marcy from “Married With Children”) is the nicest person to talk with. Aside from buying some more horror DVDs to add to the ever growing list of trash to trash, we also met with some exciting artists we hope to interview for future Graphic Headstone blogs.
But why wait until then? Here’s some creative people we’ve run into who have some exemplary work we feel the whole world should be made aware of. From left to right you have 1)Dave Berns, 2) The “Bloke’s Terrible Tomb of Terror” publication, 3) Pizza Party Printing, and 4) Morgan Wilson’s Lux Nova Studio. Just click on the image to visit their Facebook pages and check out their work.

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! As Jack Frost loosens his icy grip on us, we prepare for what’s sure to be a fun and exciting season. Now, check the boogey board and sunscreen there, I’m talking about the season of conventions! Yessir, like pop culture weeds popping up all over the world, now is the time for clicks of special individuals to come together and celebrate their favorite forms of entertainment in every way imaginable . . . and unimaginable! This is the key time for fans of cartoons, larping, ponies, video games, and comics to realize they’re not alone in their obsession and add numbers to rapidly growing cults.
We of course have plans for Screaming Soup! hitting the convention circuit in the near future, but we want to make sure we have plenty of content to share before throwing ourselves at the feet of the public for love and acceptance as the future of horror hosting. That’s not to say we’re not doing our homework, however! We’ve been walking the beat and gett’n an eyeful of plenty of hungry up and coming acts trying to get the word out about themselves. Sadly, some of these people don’t know the first thing about selling themselves or their ideas. We’ve approached talents with all the interest one could muster for hearing their story, but they would fumble horribly with indifferent reactions, mumbling, and describing their works in the most broad and boring ways possible! Believe in your work and convince me it’s worth buying, numb nuts! Don’t hide quietly behind the table and think your art is enough to speak on its own. Stand up, smile, and interact for fuck’s sake!

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Today’s the 20th, and you know what that means. New Screaming Soup! episode! Season 2 is still cooking with fire as we review one of our personal favorites that we discovered just a few short years ago, “Satan’s Little Helper.” Another example of an under celebrated horror villain we want to get the word out for, this surprise of a movie has it all with good story, hot girls, and a wildly entertaining slasher. But why am I telling you about this here? Play the video below and enjoy watching our review! Images from this episode have been added to our gallery.

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Well, this has been an interest’n week full of mayhem and travel. I somehow got wrangled into an overblown competition for Skeleton of the Year and found myself neck to neck with this other web star called the Reaper who hosts the show “Your Final Answer.” He’s an all around performer through and through who knows how to work the crowd hard and fast, but I was sure I had the win in my pocket by the time we headed into the talent round. To see how this battle of the web hosts played out, check out the vid below! Win or loose, this Reaper guy showed some real grit and I’m sure we’ll cross paths again in the future. Check out his show HERE.
In other news, we added another zany Screaming Soup! holiday message to our Eeeh!-Card collection. Wish your drinking buddies a drunk adventure with this one of a kind expression of emerald cheer that’ll set some high standards for what they could only hope to experience. Share it using any of the social media outlets available HERE.

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Beware of the blob! It creeps, and leaps and glides and slides, and lest we forget it strips you to the bone faster than Leatherface and Hannibal Lecter in a flesh eating contest. Yes, one of the more amorphous monsters of the atomic age that could very well have been inspired by a glop of toothpaste or silly putty, the Blob has certainly withstood the test of time as a favorite among horror fans. I still need to see the sillier sequel to the original (“Beware the Blob” aka “Son of Blob”), but I’ll be satisfied in the meantime with the remake Chuck Russell (“Nightmare on Elm St. 3: The Dream Warriors,” “The Mask”) directed in 1988 which is still a favorite of ours with its bonanza of special effects and gore!
This week we recognize this gelatinous wad of gum with an all new Re-make Re-mix music video that blends the original movie with its remake while jamming out to the tune of “Infected” by Bad Religion. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did putting it together.

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Believe it or not, I’m actually a bit tongue tied and at a loss for words! Nope, can’t think of anything witty or crazy to say. Nada. Zip. Maybe I should just plug something. That’ll work.

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Yeeeee-haaaa! We got ourselves another excit’n, side-splitt’n episode, and you’re all invited! This time around we got ourselves an up close look at one of the 80’s lesser known stabby stab horrors, “Scarecrows.” With robber commandoes fighting for their lives to escape a cursed farm, this movie’s like “Predator” if you replace the alien with, well . . . scarecrows! Watch and find out just how bad a movie can be no matter how wild and exciting a concept is.
In addition to the review, we also have a new rogue to add to the show, and he’s a real annoying pain in our asses! Read up on Rook, our latest addition to the cast, and check out the newest stills added to our gallery from this episode.

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! It has come time again to take your hard earned tax refund and give it away to your significant other in the form of dying flowers, nasty assorted chocolates, and expensive jewelry that looks as real as the cheap knock offs. I’m jabber’n about Valentine’s Day of course, the only other holiday besides Christmas and Thanksgiving that can leave the lonely even more suicidal. Lucky for me, I don’t have to be alone, because I’ve found my special someone who has seen every flaw in my character and has yet to reach the end of her tolerance. After 5 wonderful years together, she has inspired me more than anyone ever has and helped me find my way to a path full of humor, warmth, and joy that I used to think wasn’t possible at times before finding her. Once again, for the 5th time in my existence, I can relish the fact we’re each other’s Valentine’s and no one else’s. Happy Valentine’s Day, Mandy XOXOXOX.
Be aware we have an all new original Screaming Soup! Valentine’s Day Eeeh!-Card! available in our Extra‘s section of our site for screaming, “I love you!” at a stranger or lover this holiday. It’s a wonderful depiction of two soul’s attraction to one another that will surely sum up everything you couldn’t verbalize yourself.
But enough of this sappy stuff! Be back here next week on 2/20/14 for the next hilarious episode of Screaming Soup! as we review an 80’s horror that does an amazing job at failing to blend action with farm land terror. You’ll see the return of some favorite characters and the introduction to some new ones as well.

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! The year just started, but it already feels like it’s blowing by in a hurry. Or at least that’s how it feels for us given the crazy schedule we’ve committed to for holding the title as the web’s #1 animated horror host site!
This week we revisit our childhoods and take a fond look back at a forgotten animated reincarnation of the classic Universal monsters. For those who don’t know, there was once a short lived Saturday morning cartoon called “Monster Force” and it kicked ass! It’s like the Real Ghostbusters, M.A.S.K., and G.I.Joe were rolled into one and pitted against the undying icons of original terror. It’s everything “Monster Squad” and “Van Helsing” should have been. Check it out in this latest Re-Animated Review below and see for yourself!
In other news, be expecting the newest Screaming Soup! episode 2/20/15, and be on the look out for new Screaming Soup! Eeeh!-Cards for the upcoming holidays in our Extra section of the site.
