Howdy there, Scream Freaks! After months of plannin’ and buildin’, we’re off to make our first official appearance at Mad Monster Party in Charlotte, NC. The next three days are sure to be a blast with us personally rubbin’ elbows with the horror community from its fans to the hall-o-famer celebs, but it’s gonna be a lot of work too. Just like an election campaign on the warpath, we’re gonna shake claws, kiss hellions, and promote the show every which way we can to make sure everyone we meet leaves that convention with excitement to watch Screaming Soup!

Fliers, $1 merch rangin’ from stickers to tradin’ cards and magnets, our videos playin’ throughout the film festival – we’re takin’ advantage of every opportunity to get the word out and grow our fan base. We definitely think we’ll be grabbin’ a lot of folks’ attention with our display you see below. It stands out, puts the star attraction front and center, says what we are in one glance, free standin’ with its own power supply, and versatile for differin’ convention spaces dependin’ on the patch of carpet we manage to swing. We can’t wait to see how newbies react to it!

As for you long-time Scream Freaks, we hope to see ya there and don’t be shy to say howdy. Also, don’t be surprised if we don’t recognize ya from your teenie tiny profile pictures at first if you regularly tweet us. We’ll have a better chance recognizin’ your online handle!

Other than that, be sure to catch up on all past Screaming Soup! Seasons, check out this week’s Howl’n Hottie, read recent reviews for the newer horror films and comics we’re checkin’ out in our blogs, R-Rated Reviews and Sequential Slime, and help us get the word out about the web’s #1 animated horror host show! Please use our social buttons in the upper right corner of the site and follow our tweets, subscribe to our video channels, like our Facebook, watch and share all our vids, and keep that fan mail comin’. You can also warm up some Screaming Soup! leftovers with reruns currently playin’ on Beta Max TV and Sluggo’s The Vortexx!

For all you fearmakers out there workin’ on your next scary feature, remember to shoot it our way as an entry in our Scream Freak Film Contest! Three winners will be reviewed in our 50th episode and promoted to all the Scream Freaks lookin’ for the next big thing Hollywood’s too scared to capitalize on. The deadline is open ’til we publish our 49th episode!

See ya at Mad Monster Party Carolina Feb. 22-24!

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Wow, this year is flying by so fast we can hardly believe it! In fact, we almost forgot last week was the Mad Monster Party and shot over there in a hurry! Before we knew it, we were elbows deep in a whole slew of talented people and familiar actors. We witnessed the voice of the Crypt Keeper (John Kassir) in action, Adam West and Burt Ward (Batman) team up for a dynamic panel discussion, and learned Amanda Bearse (Marcy from “Married With Children”) is the nicest person to talk with. Aside from buying some more horror DVDs to add to the ever growing list of trash to trash, we also met with some exciting artists we hope to interview for future Graphic Headstone blogs.

But why wait until then? Here’s some creative people we’ve run into who have some exemplary work we feel the whole world should be made aware of. From left to right you have 1)Dave Berns,  2) The “Bloke’s Terrible Tomb of Terror” publication, 3) Pizza Party Printing, and 4) Morgan Wilson’s Lux Nova Studio. Just click on the image to visit their Facebook pages and check out their work.

Please use our social buttons in the upper right corner of the site and follow our tweets, subscribe to our Youtube channel, like our Facebook, watch and share all our vids, and keep that fan mail coming.

That’s pretty much it for now, so I’ll see ya’ later Scream Freaks!
