SCREAMING AT WEREWOLVES AND DR. PEPPER WITH DAVID NAUGHTON!

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Sorry, it’s been awhile since we last checked in, but Halloween’s right ’round the corner, and we’re balls to the wall crankin’ out the goods to ensure we get y’all the long awaited finale to our fifth season that also happens to be -(GASP!)- our 50TH EPISODE!! Jumpin’ jack-o-lanterns, right? Yup, it’s an all out spooktacular as we wrap up everything from our descent into the bowels of hell, finally review the winnin’ flicks of our Scream Freak Film Contest, and party with most guest star cameos we’ve ever had. Just check out some of these sneak peeks!

In the meantime, we had to tear ourselves away from the grindstone when we heard Toy Federation was bringin’ ‘nother horror hall of famer ’round their parts, and it was none other than the American Werewolf himself, David Naughton! With the chance to bend his ear for a quick chat, we were hard pressed to ask David anythin’ he hadn’t already answered a bajillion times ’bout his time as a special effects werewolf but did find a lack of information regardin’ his time as Dr. Pepper’s fizz pushin’ pitchman he fondly mentioned on An American Werewolf in London‘s commentary track. Decidin’ to dig up his past as the face of a generation of peppers, David was more than happy to share his unexpected career in soda ads from the very first commercial to his questionable separation An American Werewolf in London might be to blame for. Just watch the vid below!

Other than that, be sure to catch up on all past Screaming Soup! seasons, check out this week’s Howl’n Hottie, read recent reviews for the newer horror films and comics we’re checkin’ out in our blogs, R-Rated Reviews and Sequential Slime, and help us get the word out about the web’s #1 animated horror host show! Please use our social buttons in the upper right corner of the site and follow our tweets, subscribe to our video channels, like our Facebook, watch and share all our vids, and keep that fan mail comin’. You can also warm up some Screaming Soup! leftovers with reruns currently playin’ on Beta Max TV, Sluggo’s The Vortexx, and Mr. Lobo‘s OSI 74!

See ya later, Scream Freaks!

SCREAMING AT WEREWOLVES AND CAMEOS!

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Woo-doggy, have you got it made this week with a double scoop of goodies! Not only are we premiering another tribute video for your horrific pleasure, but you also get some more animated mayhem as we make a guest appearance on Grim Reaper’s “Your Final Answer!”

Tackling the first tribute video to follow the Bruce Campbell shout-out we put together last Halloween, we realized these vids didn’t have to be spotlighting horror celebrities every time and could be about anything we think deserved attention. Jump scares, screams, rubber bats, whatever! With that said, we skipped purchasing someone’s entire film career for creating the coolest montage of their life in movies, and decided to celebrate werewolf transformations instead. Yessir, we went through our whole collection of monster movies and pieced together every super morphing,  hair sprouting, gore-tastic scene of man becoming beats we could find and pieced it all together in one Ramones jamming vid. You can check it out below and if you want to know where the clips came from, you can check out the movies on the vid’s page HERE.

In other news, Grim Reaper asked us to stop by and make another legendary appearance on his show “Your Final Answer,” and we hopefully don’t disappoint. That guest spot can also be seen below, and be sure to visit Reaper’s website (paradeofhorrorables.com), and subscribe to his Youtube page!!

Other than that, be sure to catch up on Screaming Soup! Seasons 1-2 after watching the latest Season 3 episodes, check out this week’s Howl’n Hottie, read recent reviews for the newer horror films we’re watching in our R-Rated Reviews blog, and help us get the word out about the web’s #1 animated horror host show! Please use our social buttons in the upper right corner of the site and follow our tweets, subscribe to our Youtube channel, like our Facebook, watch and share all our vids, and keep that fan mail coming.

We’ll see ya later, Scream Freaks!

SCREAMING AT MONSTER DOG & INTERVIEWS!

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Whoo doggy, it’s been one busy week so far, but we ain’t tired yet.

To kick this shindig off, we have an all new episode of Screaming Soup! for ya that’s a rocking celebration of the one and forever awesome Alice Cooper! Fuck 11, we’re jamming our Howl-Inn jukebox to freak’n 12 and enjoying some of Alice’s most memorable tunes while reviewing his 80’s horror flick, “Monster Dog.” Full of music, laughs, and glam rock werewolves, we’re sure you’ll enjoy this obscure treasure we stumbled across.

And if you’re interested, Tommy Finton of Youtube’s “Tommy Talks” has just conducted the first publically released video interview with us here at Screaming Soup! and spends an hour chatting with us about Screaming Soup’s inspirations, goals, and general opinion on the horror genre. Tommy’s been a real pleasure to meet, and we’ll be tuned in to see him guest on Comedy Central’s “Tosh.O” Tuesday 5/5/15 at 10pm EST. You can check out his Youtube channel HERE.

Other than that, be sure to catch up on all the latest Screaming Soup! episodes so far for season 2 and don’t forget to check out the newest additions to our Gallery for you art fans out there!
