SCREAMING AT SECONDARY VIDEOS!

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Another week, another marathon keepin’ the wheels rollin’ on our most epic season yet! We announced the arrival of Toulon’s teenie tiny assassins from the Puppet Master series for our next ultra review, and as excited as everyone’s been about that, some of you have been askin’ about our other vids that take a look at horror related comics and toons. Rest assured, this current season’s been a lot of work (3 years in the makin’!), but we’re doin’ our best to knock out some more Graphic Violence and Re-Animated Reviews before it’s all over!

We have all the comics and cartoons for different Troma and Full Moon properties and written reviews for each, but gettin’ to the video stage has been delayed a lot more than expected. We are plannin’ to review comics related one way or another to Herbet West from Re-Animator, we’ve got a complete review of every Puppet Master comic series to date with notes on how they work into the continuity of the Full Moon movies, and we collected every obscure Toxic Avenger related comic to review along with the Toxic Crusaders cartoon. So, it’s all in the works, and we’re gettin’ to it as fast as we can without sacrificin’ the quality of the regular animated episodes.

And with Halloween drawin’ closer, we’re addin’ more fun times to our schedule with different cameos and appearance comin’ up in the next couple of months. We already announced we’ll be doing a crossover video with our friends The Horror Addicts premierin’ in October, but we also have a crossover in the works for next season with Kaci the Homicidal Homemaker. We’re also brainstormin’ some horror related topics for panel discussions to attend at this years’ Big Fandom Greenville, and have an improv group invitin’ us to be special guests at one of their shows where they’ll perform improv inspired by clips from our show they’ll be playin’ on (duh duh DUH!) Friday the 13th this Halloween. That’s an event we’ll be sure to share with y’all!

Other than that, be sure to catch up on all past Screaming Soup! Seasons, check out this week’s Howl’n Hottie, read recent reviews for the newer horror films and comics we’re checkin’ out in our blogs, R-Rated Reviews and Sequential Slime, and help us get the word out about the web’s #1 animated horror host show! Please use our social buttons in the upper right corner of the site and follow our tweets, subscribe to our YouTube channel, like our Facebook, watch and share all our vids, and keep that fan mail coming.

Warm up some Screaming Soup! leftovers with reruns scheduled to play on Sluggo’s The Vortexx (after 9PM EST Sunday and Wednesday nights)!

If you need the hook-up with instant Troma and Full Moon movies, we’d suggest watching Troma’s films for free on their Youtube channel, and you can get full access to Full Moon’s catalog of work from their movies to their Videozone clips at Full Moon Streaming and their Amazon channel.

See ya later, Scream Freaks!

In the meantime, enjoy a visual game of Where’s Deadwest? courtesy of Lauren Fox, The Cartoon Physicist!

SCREAMING AT DOGGONE HORROR!

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Oh, the excitement is just building for the premier of our 3rd season 1/20/15, and we can’t stand it! But until then, just pull a bag over your head to ease the anxiety and enjoy a warm-up vid we call, Doggone Horror.

For years, we watched horror movies with no problem accepting the rule that anyone could die at anytime. Old people, babies, the handicap, and especially animals. Animals always seem to be horror’s warm-up act (normally beating the black guy as first to get axed), but it never phased us until our girlfriends started making a fuss about it. Now, we all know it’s a movie and nothing’s real, but the ladies still wanna flip tables whenever a critter is even hinted at being harmed on screen. This situation has only 3 courses of action. Empathize with their sensitive nature and change out the movie you’ve been dying to see, kick the gal out of the room so you can be scared in peace, or dump’em till they learn their lesson and come weeping back to you. Well, asking them to leave is a fair compromise of the 2 extremes, so we tend to go that route. But it’s times like these that inspired this Screaming Soup! Presents vid which serves 2 purposes. To educate horror fans of some notable hounds of the genre, and to warn others of some flicks they may not wanna show their in-the-closet PETA recruit who can watch a toddler get skewered by cannibals but never a dog getting tossed in shark infested waters.

So, without anymore of an introduction, watch our newest vid below and have fun learning about some movies you maybe didn’t know existed while avoiding a date night gone wrong the next time you pick the movie. And for those interested, we’ve also been made aware of a great site you can check for an animal death count in a movie called doesthedogdie.com. Checked it out ourselves, and its pretty helpful and allows you to add updates to any movies you saw they haven’t accounted for yet.

Other than that, be sure to catch up on Screaming Soup! Seasons 1-2 before the premier of Season 3 1/20/16, check out this week’s Howl’n Hottie, watch out for a new Screaming Soup! Presents video 1/10/16, and help us get the word out about the web’s #1 animated horror host show! Please use our social buttons in the upper right corner of the site and follow our tweets, subscribe to our Youtube channel, like our Facebook, watch and share all our vids, and keep that fan mail coming.

I’ll see ya later, Scream Freaks!
