SCREAMING AT CROSSOVER BUZZ!

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! ‘nother week, ‘nother step closer to the next excitin’ episode of Screaming Soup! Yessir, while we’ve got our noses to the grindstone to pump out the next chapter in “Hard Road to Hell,” we’re simultaneously plannin’ for episodes beyond that. We’ve got all new villains in the works, unseen corners of the Crosslands to develop, and are even networkin’ more crossovers with some horrific personalities ya may have heard of.

With our 50th episode on the horizon, we’ve got some horror host hall of famers on the line for a special appearance, but nothin’s a done deal just yet. Hopefully, these iconic titans of humorous commentary will take a shine to seein’ themselves animated, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

The one upcomin’ crossover we can spill the beans on, however, is the one y’all have been beggin’ for. Ya ready for this? We will be crossin’ paths with none other than — Doctor Wolfula!

Yup, we first heard of this fan favorite horror host through our amigos, the Horror Addicts, and have been pleasantly entertained by his YouTube vids for the couple of years we’ve been watchin’ ’em now. A hard workin’ reviewer since 2010 with a zombie punchin’ bag for a sidekick named Ghoulash, Doc is relentless with his fandom for all things Scooby-Doo and tirelessly explorin’ any and all avenues for reachin’ fans ‘cross the web. He switches his presentation styles up ‘tween live action and animation, interacts with his followers through live streamin’ avatars and motion capture, and has even started producin’ an online comic strip. What can’t this fella do?

Anyway, we’ve been teasin’ a crossover ‘tween our shows for a long time on Twitter and finally reached out to each other this week to make that happen. With an upcomin’ episode in mind, we pitched Doc a guest star appearance that brings him face to face with Deadwest at the Howl-Inn Grub & Spirits, and he quickly agreed to do it. No spoilers, but this legendary meetin’ of the horror hosts will be occurrin’ in our 52nd episode. A little ways off, we know, but hey, it’s none the less excitin’!

Other than that, be sure to catch up on all past Screaming Soup! Seasons, check out this week’s Howl’n Hottie, read recent reviews for the newer horror films and comics we’re checkin’ out in our blogs, R-Rated Reviews and Sequential Slime, and help us get the word out about the web’s #1 animated horror host show! SCREAMING AT HORROR ADDICTS CROSSOVER!

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! It’s officially October now, and everyone and everything to do with horror is kickin’ into high gear for the spookiest part of the year. Young’ns are huntin’ for the scariest costumes, creepers are turnin’ their homes into death shrines, and folks are lookin’ to us horror hosts to tell them what terror’s worth watchin’ in preparation for Halloween!

One such dedicated gang of reviewers are the Horror Addicts, a spooky family of horror enthusiasts on YouTube whose love for all things horror rivals our own! After we joked to them a while back about reviewin’ a kiddie monster flick called Goobers as part of their Full Moon reviews, they said they would if we join them, and voila! Instant Halloween crossover special! What’s even cooler is our collaboration is now a part of their Shocktober Challenge which dares folks to review a horror movie a day with a few rules dictatin’ the number of sub-genres, directors, etc. to cover. Pretty sweet, huh? Watch the new crossover below, and check out the rest of their reviews on their YouTube page HERE.

In other news, we are working as fast as we can to get the season finale done in time for Halloween. It’s takin’ a little longer than usual, because this is goin’ to be a BIG episode with a lot of fighting, explosions, review of the Toxic Avenger movies, and clues for what to expect next season. You won’ be disappointed, and we’ll keep you posted on any delays we could run into. We also got word we’ve been approved for some discussion panels at Big Fandom Greenville in November which will be fun with all the dirty stupid topics we pitched to jabber jaw about. Sexiest moments in horror and bad b-movie beasts is all we’ll let slip for now. Screaming Soup! will also be makin’ a special appearance at Alchemy Comedy on Friday the 13th, where we’ll share some stories with an improv group who’ll riff on everythin’ we say for fun. Plannin’ on gettin’ that recorded and uploaded’ before Halloween, fangs crossed.

In the meantime, be sure to catch up on all past Screaming Soup! Seasons, check out this week’s Howl’n Hottie, read recent reviews for the newer horror films and comics we’re checkin’ out in our blogs, R-Rated Reviews and Sequential Slime, and help us get the word out about the web’s #1 animated horror host show! Please use our social buttons in the upper right corner of the site and follow our tweets, subscribe to our YouTube channel, like our Facebook, watch and share all our vids, and keep that fan mail coming.

Warm up some Screaming Soup! leftovers with reruns currently playin’ on Beta Max TV and Sluggo’s The Vortexx!

If you need the hook-up with instant Troma and Full Moon movies, we’d suggest watching Troma’s films for free on their Youtube channel, and you can get full access to Full Moon’s catalog of work from their movies to their Videozone clips at Full Moon Streaming and their Amazon channel.

SCREAMING AT A BLOODBATH & BEYOND CROSSOVER!

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Grab an extra dish, ’cause yer gettin’ served up not 1 but 2 reviews of The Stuff! Wipe that confused look off yer face, we ain’t backtracking our own review for a 2nd go ’round. No, sir. We’ve been in talks with the fine folks over at Bloodbath & Beyond, and before you know it, one thing led to another and Wooowee! We got ourselves a bona fide crossover of unprecedented mayhem!

Being the web’s first and only animated horror hosts means a lot of firsts, and this is one of them. Never before have live action horror hosts mixed with fully animated ones, and the result is laugh out loud epic. So epic, this crossover could only be done as a 2-parter with both sets of hosts visiting each other’s sets. Both parts are below, and we would suggest starting with the Screaming Soup! half as part 1, so you get a full understandin’ of what’s happenin’ before switching over to BBB’s half of the crossover.

We give a joyful YEEEHAAAAW! to Bloodbath & Beyond for decidin’ to take this steer by the horns and help make a memorable video we’re sure ya’ll will enjoy. We encourage you to check out more of their vids on their Youtube channel HERE, but come back to us for more helpings of Screaming Soup!

Other than that, be sure to catch up on Screaming Soup! Seasons 1-2 after watching the latest Season 3 episodes, check out this week’s Howl’n Hottie, read recent reviews for the newer horror films we’re watching in our R-Rated Reviews blog, and help us get the word out about the web’s #1 animated horror host show! Please use our social buttons in the upper right corner of the site and follow our tweets, subscribe to our Youtube channel, like our Facebook, watch and share all our vids, and keep that fan mail coming.
