Howdy there, Scream Freaks! If you haven’t already noticed, we got our new season up and kickin’ and none too soon! We find out Billy’s fate, set-up some teases for future trouble at the Howl-Inn Grub & Spirits, slip in bits of backstory, and officially introduce this season’s newest bad guys, the four horsemen of the apocalypse! And if all that weren’t enough, the cherry on top is a review of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper’s infamous Hell Comes to Frogtown with a little follow-up on its two sequels.
We also gotta give a big thank ya to the folks who helped out with this particular episode. This is the first time the animated segments fully feature music by Brian Barnes from Mondopiece Theatre, a long time supporter of our show, so a huge round of applause for him. We also got to work Pretty Weird Art’s Ethan and Rachel Monglin, the amazin’ creators behind the Death Elf and Woose comics which we discussed in a past Graphic Headstone article. Show your support for these fine talents and check out more of their stuff. Watch Brian’s video reviews HERE, and check out Pretty Weird Art’s comic blog HERE.
You’ll also be informed of this season’s newest contest, the Scream Freak Film Contest. Not the catchiest name, we know, but it gets the point across. If you make scary movies and wish we’d review your flick, then here’s your chance! Skip to the end of the vid below and find out how, and click the video link to the right for all the gory details for enterin’.
And for those Scream Queen aficionados, this is our final week celebratin’ B-Queen Sybil Danning as our Howlin’ Hottie of the Week, four weeks runnin’. This week we’re enjoyin’ her warrior outfit from Phantom Empire, a flick we haven’t seen yet, but need to right away by the looks of it!
Other than that, be sure to catch up on all past Screaming Soup! Seasons, check out this week’s Howl’n Hottie, read recent reviews for the newer horror films and comics we’re checkin’ out in our blogs, R-Rated Reviews and Sequential Slime, and help us get the word out about the web’s #1 animated horror host show! Please use our social buttons in the upper right corner of the site and follow our tweets, subscribe to our video channels, like our Facebook, watch and share all our vids, and keep that fan mail comin’.
Warm up some Screaming Soup! leftovers with reruns currently playin’ on Beta Max TV and Sluggo’s The Vortexx!
See ya later, Scream Freaks!
