SCREAMING AT MORE EEEH! CARDS!

Howdy, Scream Freaks, and welcome back! The holidays are upon us once again, and they feel like they’re flying by! Of course, that might be the case for us as we continue prepping the next season of Screaming Soup! with tight deadlines we’re keeping up with week after week. It’s a lot of work picking new movies to review, bringing in new characters, and ensuring we keep things as exciting as always.

Speaking of deadlines we’re making for ourselves, we’re proud to announce the unveiling of the newest Screaming Soup! Thanksgiving Eeeh! Card! for this coming Turkey Day. The steadily building craze that’s been changing Thanksgiving traditions for better or worse the last few years has been this new hybrid of culinary madness called a Turkducken. A chicken stuffed up a duck’s ass which is then stuffed up a turkey’s ass, creating a tossed salad massacre so foul, you never know where one bird begins and the other ends! The CW’s “Supernatural” managed to use this unusual meal as a villain’s tool for world domination, but I’m surprised no one’s brought this to its most horrific realization on celluloid yet. Until they do, we proudly present our own monstrous envisioning of the Turducken for all those needing a more exciting holiday greeting for their friends and family this year.

Other than sharing our new Thanksgiving Eeeh! Card located in our Extra section, be sure to follow our tweets, subscribe to our Youtube channel and watch all our vids, and keep that fan mail coming. See ya later, Scream Freaks!

SCREAMING AT COMIC CREATOR MITCH ROGERS!

Howdy, Scream Freaks! So, you may have been wondering how we’re going to fill the time between now and the premier of Screaming Soup! Season 2 (coming January 2015). Well, we thought about posting a endlessly entertaining GIF of a man wrestling a bear, but came to our senses and came up with something much better! As of today, we’re launching our newest blog, the Graphic Headstone, which spotlights some of today’s best horrific talent to watch out for. We’ve been reaching out to several artists and writers who’ve been producing some of the most engaging horror-related entertainment out there and the responses have been great! Our first entry comes from the Carolinas, an independent comic creator named Mitch Rogers whose comics have been introducing audiences to a new kind of boogeyman that’s at war with the mob! Check it out HERE!

As we prep for the upcoming season, we’re still finding time for some holiday fun and working more Screaming Soup! Eeeh Cards!, this time for Thanksgiving. Terrorific fun to convince your friends and family you care and get them off your back.

Otherwise, be sure to follow our tweets, subscribe to our Youtube channel and watch all our vids, and keep that fan mail coming. See ya later, Scream Freaks!

SCREAMING AT WIKI!

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Halloween has come and gone, but you don’t have to wait a whole ‘nother year for monstrous ho-downs when we have our second season coming up in January. Yessir, we’re already kicking ass and taking names of some new trash worthy flicks you won’t be disappointed by with plenty of laughs and adventures along the way.

If you’ve read my bio, then you know I’m review’n all these sci-fi/horror flicks to figure out the best ingredients for making a home-run horror flick that’ll help me finally achieve the fame and fortune I’ve been after since my livelier days. Now, that I completed a whole season and caught the attention of many fans, I thought I’d start my official ascent into the public eye with a record of my exploits. Creatures are always telling me if it ain’t on Wikipedia, then it doesn’t exist. Now, I fought too hard to not exist, so I’ve been trying to break into this digital book of fact but with a lot of resistance. Nothing worth havin’ comes without a fight I suppose. Those record keepers tell me I need to be notable outside my own bubble in some documented fashion. So, if anyone knows of a blogger, writer, journalist, vlogger, or the like who needs an interview or something to review for mass consideration, give me a holler. Till then, I’m going to keep getting back on that horse and kicking its teeth in.

Otherwise, be sure to follow our tweets, subscribe to our Youtube channel and watch all our vids, and keep that fan mail coming. See ya later, Scream Freaks!

SCREAMING AT HALLOWEEN 2014!

You’ve waited all year and it’s finally here! Halloween has arrived and what a glorious bitch she is. The cemetery’s are jumping, the ghosts are flying, and ghouls and ghosts are turning all kinds of tricks for treats. While it doesn’t officially start until the creeping stroke of midnight, we here at Screaming Soup! got an early start to this wicked holiday thanks to our beast of a contest!

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Congratulations to our 2014 “Screaming Soup! Halloween Contest” winner, Jessica Davenport!

Randomly drawn from hundreds of submissions, Jessica won the grand prize and had her Halloween party crashed by none other than Deadwest himself! Journeying from the Crosslands to Grand Rapids, Michigan wasn’t easy but nothing was more exciting than seeing Jessica’s guests scream at the arrival of the internet’s favorite animated horror host. Bringing bags of Halloween tricks and treats, Deadwest helped them party hard into the night with some good ‘ole fashion firewater, crunchy candies, and a multitude of monsters movies on the boob tube.

With that said, we hope all of you Scream Freaks out there have a fun and safe Halloween. Remember to always check under the mask to make sure you’re going home with the right person, don’t bob for apples without checking for razors, and enjoy all the amazing crap we can turn slutty for the ladies to wear.

Don’t forget to share some holiday jeer with your friends and family with our original Screaming Soup! Eeeh!-Cards located under the Extra tab above, and be sure to follow our tweets, subscribe to our Youtube channel to watch all our vids, and keep that fan mail coming. See ya later, Scream Freaks!

SCREAMING AT THE “MANIAC COP” TRILOGY!

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! We’ve finally arrived at the end of the season, but that’s just an excuse for us to blow this shit out! You’ve loyally watched us review cheap horror/sci-fi flicks featuring lesser known aliens, demons, freaks, and slashers, but now we’re bringing everyone out to celebrate a timeless horror icon whose path of chaos is still entertaining us 26 years later! We’re talking about the Maniac Cop, one of the most deserving celluloid terrors of a righteous comeback this Halloween! We review his exciting action/horror series with epic battles against Bruce “The King” Campbell and Robert Davi, while paying tribute to Robert Z’Dar, the nicest guy to ever play a psycho killer. It’s a ton of fun, so push play already!

But wait a sec! Our “Screaming Soup! Halloween Contest” ends today, and we’ll be contacting the winner before the end of the week to arrange their visit from Deadwest for their Halloween party. We’ll be sure to post a picture of Deadwest and the winner as soon as that happens. And don’t forget to share some holiday jeer with your friends and family with our original Screaming Soup! Eeeh!-Cards located under the Extra tab above.

The new season won’t start until Jan’15, but we’ll still be posting special vids and new Eeeh!-Cards for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and keep you posted with sneak peeks at the upcoming season until then with blogs every week. Other than that, be sure to follow our tweets, subscribe to our Youtube channel to watch all our vids, and keep that fan mail coming. See ya later, Scream Freaks!

SCREAMING AT NEW SCREAMING SOUP! HOLIDAY EEEH!-CARDS!

Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Just in time for Halloween, we’re introducing our first set of original Screaming Soup! Holiday Eeeh!-Cards! Tell people to have a happy Halloween this year with either Deadwest gun fighting at a pumpkin carving contest or Deadbeat jamming out in 8-bit color glory. Share these free colorful expressions of ghoulish glee far and wide! They’re sure to creep out your secret crush, make your family think you give a damn, and break the ice at any costume party. If these weren’t enough already, plans are already in motion for more Eeeh!-Cards on the way for Thanksgiving and Christmas, so be sure to keep an eye on our Extras section here on the site.

We’re getting real anxious for the season finale next week, and we promise you it’s going to be a hell of a time with everyone in the cast making an appearance as well as some new faces! It’s going to be so big, we’re marking the occasion as a “Super Screaming Soup!” event! Oh, and don’t forget to enter our  “Screaming Soup! Halloween Contest” before 10/20/14 for a chance to have your costume party crashed by Deadwest, the web’s #1 animated horror host. We’ve had some interesting entries so far, and think Deadwest is going to have some great stories to tell before the end of the month.

SCREAMING A TRIBUTE TO JEFFREY COMBS!

It’s finally here, Scream Freaks! We present our first official Tribute vid, and it goes out to the one and only sci-fi/horror icon, Jeffrey Combs! That’s right, we highlight some of Comb’s more memorable appearances in no less than 18 films that celebrate Comb’s impressive range as an actor over the past 3 decades. Whether he’s a misunderstood medical student, a crazed F.B.I agent, an evil battling mystic, or Edgar Fucking Allan Poe, Combs always entertains us no matter the size of the role! We’re just keeping our fingers crossed he comes out with a new Re-Animator film which we think should be Herbert West meets “Breaking Bad.” Why? West was shooting up his re-agent like an addict in deleted scenes from the first “Re-Animator,” and then watched someone else abuse it like a drug in “Beyond Re-Animator.” It makes sense West might raise capitol by becoming a drug dealer and use the addicts as new test subjects for him to perfect his re-agent with. Just a thought that we think would be awesome, but what do we know . . .

In other news, keep an eye out for original Screaming Soup! Halloween E-cards which should be going up next week for you to send out to those you want to share some ghoulish greetings with this season. Don’t forget we have our first season finale just around the corner (10/20/14) with a whole trilogy we’ll be reviewing for your sick pleasure. And be sure to enter our  “Screaming Soup! Halloween Contest” before 10/20/14 for a chance to have your costume party crashed by Deadwest, the web’s #1 animated horror host.

Other than that, be sure to follow our tweets, subscribe to our Youtube channel and watch all our vids, and keep that fan mail coming. See ya later, Scream Freaks!

SCREAMING AT THE ARRIVAL OF OCTOBER!

Howdy Scream Freaks! October’s finally here, and we couldn’t be more excited! We’re nuking the popcorn, spiking the punch, and popping candy like addicts as we gear up for a whole new level of celebrating all things horrific and awful. I mean, we do that around the clock already, but this will be truly epic, because our next episode will review not one or two movies but a whole trilogy starring a horror icon who can easily send anyone into cardiac “arrest.” Gotta go all out for the season finale you know?

In other news, our “Screaming Soup! Halloween Contest” has gotten off to a great start with entries from all over the country, so be sure to enter by 10/20/14 if you haven’t already for the chance to invite Deadwest to your next scary event. In the works are some original Screaming Soup! Happy Halloween E-Cards which will be available soon for you to share with your fellow ghouls and creeps, and our first Tribute video is planned for later this month.

Other than that, be sure to follow our tweets, subscribe to our Youtube channel and watch all our vids, and keep that fan mail coming. See ya later, Scream Freaks!

SCREAMING AT “RETURN TO HORROR HIGH”!

Howdy, Scream Freaks! It’s here, it’s here! The newest episode from Screaming Soup! Kick your boots up, pop some Peanut M&M’s, and throw back a cold one as we finally get some frustration off our chest with this confusing mess of a horror film that needed to be sent back to Horror 101 for a refresher in terror. Also watch for our newest cast member, Dr. Rig R. Mortis, a suspiciously helpful doctor whose cures can be worse than the problem! As a reminder, keep those fan letters coming, don’t forget to follow me on Twitter, LIKE my Facebook page, and be sure to subscribe to my Youtube channel so you never miss out on the latest reviews from the internet’s #1 animated horror site. See ya later!

WHERE WERE YOU?

Well, here we are again Scream Freaks! Sorry for the week delay, but me and the guys found ourselves caught in a heated situation with a hot headed hostess trapped in an abandoned grindhouse theater. She needed a ghoulish snack, but she messed with the wrong umbres! Never fall for a sign advertising free peanut M&M’s I tell ya what.

Other than that, things have been bust’n around here! We’re about ready to premier our latest episode at the end of the week (hint: George Clooney goes back to high school), working on our first Tribute vid which will highlight the career of one of Full Moon Features’ alumni, and I’m announcing our first Screaming Soup contest for the fans!

This fall, enter for a chance to win a visit from none other than me, Deadwest, the internet’s #1 animated horror host, at your next Halloween party! That’s right, one lucky Scream Freak will have the distinct pleasure of me crashing their event, eating their candy, and convincing some gullible sap to bob for grenades. To enter, just shoot us an email at screamingsoup@gmail.com with the subject “Screaming Soup! Halloween Contest” and one lucky fan will be chosen at random to win! Contest expires 10/20/14.

Otherwise, follow our tweets, watch all our vids, and keep that fan mail coming. See ya later, Scream Freaks!
