Howdy there, Scream Freaks! Sorry fer how long it’s been since the last update here, but we know y’all been keepin’ up with our daily posts on the rest of our socials to know what we’ve been up to lately. But fer you anti-social butterflies out there, here’s the rundown —
If you’ve been contributin’ to our Patreon, you’ve seen we have Screaming Soup! PVC toys in the works. We’ve got Deadwest, Mandy, and Billy fully realized and waitin’ to go into production with six more of our cast in the workshop phase. There’s still some kinks bein’ worked out and paint decisions bein’ made fer the initial three, but we’re gunnin’ to get ’em up and sellin’ ‘fore the end of the year so long as forces outside our control work in our favor. Until then, we could very well be sellin’ some con exclusive prototypes at an upcomin’ horror show in the style of Monster In My Pocket toys, fangs crossed.
The next episode of Screaming soup! is still in production and had to undergo a bit of a rewrite. We’ll be helpin’ Ted look fer him a new Invisible Man fer his posse of classic monsters, but this see-through scare’s gotta have some cool twist which will bring alotta weirdos outta the woodwork applyin’ fer the position. What’s got us so pumped fer this upcomin’ episode is the amazin’ voice cameos we’ve wrangled. Not only will we have some familiar horror channels lendin’ their talents to some new characters, we even have two bona fide celebrities joinin’ us, and one of ’em’s a HUGE horror hall o’ famer! We’re ’bout to explode with excitement over this fantastic development and wanna animate the episode all the faster fer you Scream Freaks to enjoy!
Lastly, come and see us at what could be the most important horror convention ever pulled together — RETRO-HORROR CON! September 11-13 at the Embassy Suites in Greenville, SC, we’ll be the official host with the most as we emcee a weekend of toys and terror brought to y’all by our amigos at Toy Federation. Three days of toy shoppin’, lobby swappin’, room tradin’, karaoke, and let’s not forget — horror celebs! Yup, we’ve got Dee Wallace (The Howling, Cujo), Henry Thomas (E.T., Psycho IV), both Greasy Stranglers, Arthur Burghardt (Killjoy, G.I.Joe, Transformers), the freaky clown girl from Terrifier 2, and a demogorgon actor from Stranger Things. If that ain’t ‘nough scare fer yer buck, I’ll also be rubbin’ elbows and hostin’ a panel with the Cryptkeeper himself, John Kassir, as well as a panel and exclusive pizza party with Five Nights at Freddy’s actors Kevin Foster (Freddy Fazbear) and Audrey Lynn-Marie (Charlotte). Add the Saturday night celebrity dinner where fans can literally sit and chew the fat with all these terror-ific talents at once, this is destined to be a weekend no one will forget.
