Screaming Soup!

Howdy there, Scream Freaks, and Happy Cinco De Mayo! You know, when we decided to do this epic storyline this season, we knew we were committin’ ourselves to some serious crunch time that would make anyone drink. Animatin’ 100+ new characters, compositin’ a bunch of new backgrounds, findin’ actors who can mimic certain celebrities, and reviewin’ as many as 35 movies when an average season reviews 12-15! In other words, an ass load of hard work.

But we ain’t drinkin’ out of exhausted depression today. No, sir! We raise our glasses in celebration of this fine season, proud to be rebels darin’ to ride their own trail as we stay the course and see this crazy crossover through regardless of hiccups. And boy howdy were there some hiccups! This year showed a lot of promise with Full Moon and Troma supportin’ the crossover and our show bein’ picked up by some streamin’ services. Then Troma suddenly backed out, startin’ the whole censor non-sense, and some of the streamin’ services have recently been canceled. Most folk would be so distraught and frustrated at this point, they’d wanna call it quits or wallow in their short comin’s while blamin’ the world for not goin’ their way.

Not us, partner. We’re always high jumpin’ back on that horse with milk still left in our glasses and ridin’ even harder with our heads held high! Despite all that’s happened so far, we always focus on the wins rather than the losses. Like the support of you Scream Freaks out there is a definite win we’re incredibly humbled by. Sluggo’s Vortexx is still happily broadcastin’ our show on their streamin’ service, and we’ve been makin’ some sweet connections with the fine folks who run Full Moon Features. So, even if things maybe didn’t exactly work out the way we hoped after 3 years of workin’ on this one season, we ain’t failin’ to recognize the gains and keepin’ our eyes fixed on that success peakin’ over the horizon ain’t no one stoppin’ us from reachin’!

Raise your glasses to horror flicks, good and bad, dreams, big and small, and fans, new and diehard. Let’s drink, y’all!
