Howdy there, Scream Freaks! New week, same bullshit ’round here. We still got our nose to the digital grindstone, pluggin’ away at our most ambitious season yet that’s guaranteed to be the best free entertainment we can offer. We’re up to our eyeballs animatin’ zombie chicken armies, giant rock ’em sock ’em robots, bar brawls, puppet shows . . . but you’ll see all that soon enough.

With all this extra animation and multitude of reviews we committed ourselves to, it’s important to get away from time to time and chillax with a fun flick we ain’t scrutinizin’ for a review. Luckily, we were reminded of one such film scheduled at select theaters tonight, hosted live by RiffTrax, the latest incarnation of the last Mystery Science Theater 3000 gang. If you haven’t been to one of these events before, you’re really missin’ out ’cause they’re hilarious and a truly new experience at the movie theater. The RiffTrax fellas basically riff a movie in front of a live audience at some venue, and that live event is simultaneously broadcast to select theaters across the country for others to enjoy. Some of the best ones we attended were the original House on Haunted Hill and Sharknado, but putrid polecats, not even RiffTrax can save the watchability of bombs like Birdemic and The Room! Tonight shows some promise though, ’cause RiffTrax will be reviewin’ a flick we’ve heard about for a long time but never seen . . . Samurai Cop. If you’re interested in watchin’ somethin’ the same time as us (4/13/17), look for more information at

With the mention of RiffTrax and their ties to MST3K, it only feels natural to briefly mention our excitement for the new MST3K comin’ to Netflix. We were never on the MST3K train with both feet like so many others in the past, but we certainly enjoyed plenty of their movie riffs durin’ the Sci-Fi Channel’s hay day whenever the cheese flick was tolerable enough. Thanks to the arrival of the new MST3K, it’s been easier than ever for folk like us to catch up on everythin’ MST3K with several magazines and TV channels pluggin’ the original series with nostalgic articles and reruns. Our favorite horror rag Horrorhound intereviewed the newest host and published a thorough article on the show’s history in their latest issue. Cable channels like Comet and Shout! Factory’s Roku channel have helped the show find new audiences with reruns and on demand streams of their original episodes. So, needless to say, we’ve been checkin’ a lot of this out lately and happily reminded why MST3K was such a big influence on our own show.

Before we wrap up, we wanna give a big thanks to all you Scream Freaks who participated in Mandy’s Easter Challenge last week. And a big congratulations goes out to the winner, Sarah Day (Durhman, NC), for tellin’ us the scariest thing about the Easter Bunny is he judges your stupid man suit! She’s received a free copy of the throwback slasher flick, Easter Sunday, along with other random goodies!

Other than that, be sure to catch up on all past Screaming Soup! Seasons, check out this week’s Howl’n Hottie, read recent reviews for the newer horror films and comics we’re checkin’ out in our blogs, R-Rated Reviews and Sequential Slime, and help us get the word out about the web’s #1 animated horror host show! Please use our social buttons in the upper right corner of the site and follow our tweets, subscribe to our YouTube channel, like our Facebook, watch and share all our vids, and keep that fan mail coming.

Warm up some Screaming Soup! leftovers with reruns currently scheduled to play on Beta Max TV ( Saturday nights @ 9pm EST) and Sluggo’s The Vortexx (after 9PM EST Sunday and Wednesday nights)!

If you need the hook-up with instant Troma and Full Moon movies, we’d suggest watching Troma’s films for free on their Youtube channel, and you can get full access to Full Moon’s catalog of work from their movies to their Videozone clips at Full Moon Streaming and their Amazon channel.

See ya later, Scream Freaks!

Wow I’m amazed you like terror toons. I haven’t seen it but I’ve watch a review of it on another youtuber angry beast reviewer a revierwer so vulger that he can get along with buzzkill,no effence. But anyway to best describe this movie what you said about evil toons that the idea of a killer cartoon can be done if well animated and executed, but since directed by Feed Olen Ray a B movie director like Roger Corman the animation was to expensive for the budget so we only see the toon a few minutes at the beginning and at the climax and the kills are not cartoon related. This movie does a full reversal on the subject we final get cartoon relatible deaths, but budget was my more cheaper then evil toons because the toons are portraited as guys in mascot costumes and look like chuckie cheese or five nights at freddie’s rejects.

We were more surprised, believe you us! Now, we’re not throwin’ Terror Toons posters on the walls or fightin’ tooth and nail for the sequels, but it wasn’t that bad of a movie. They were certainly creative with creatin’ strip Ouija!

Well guess what they some how made sequels with 2 being not related to the first one and with a cheaper budget and guys in different mascot costumes and more cartoon related deaths, And 3 is still not yet released and it’s a direct sequel taking place after the event of the first one with its cheap effects and cheap computer effects.
