One of Deadwest’s closest friends, Catfish is a drunken gill man who’s normally found soaking in a beer barrel at the Howl-Inn Grub and Spirits. Catfish can be bitter and likes to instigate arguments to feel like he’s more in control of his environment. He’s usually depressed about his problems communicating with women and his inability to cope with loneliness which drives him to keep a constant buzz to avoid dealing with his emotional anguish. He often approaches women with cheesy lines and sexual innuendos which are most often heard when hitting on the Howl-Inn’s alien waitress, Aleena, who consistently turns him down.
